The Gathering 2023

The Northwest Native Chamber thrives on the following pillars of service: Education & Growth, Building Relationships, and Economic Justice & Transformation. The Gathering is an amalgamation of all of these pillars.

This year we returned to The Redd East Event Space to celebrate this nexus of commerce and culture. We celebrated expressions of Native Excellence told through food, fashion, and music. This year we featured the culinary artistry of Chef Jack Strong (Siletz) supported by Vibrant Table Catering, the musical excellence of Snotty Nose Rez Kids, fashion designers NEOMOBILIZE, and Trenal Original. Directed by the wonderful Palani Bearghost, owner and founder of NEO.

Embrace the roots of our heritage with #FirstFoods, the indigenous treasures that sustained generations in North America. From Camas to Ozette and Wapato, these plants were vital for nourishment and community strength long before European contact.

The fruits and leaves of medicinal plants not only provided nutrition but also healed. We thank our plant and animal relatives for their thoughtful giving of life and health.

At NWNC, we proudly support entrepreneurs in the agriculture and hospitality industries, honoring their ancestral knowledge that has nourished our people for centuries.

We raise our hands to our generous sponsors:

Gathering 2022

The Annual Gathering, NWNC’s signature event, is a unique opportunity for members, partners, and the Native business community to network, celebrate, and support the work of NWNC and its Student Academic Award (SA2) program. Each year, The Gathering brings together Tribal representatives, corporate partners, city, county, state & federal government agencies, and community leaders to celebrate the contributions of NWNC members and the Native business community.
