NWNC Event Submission Policy
Purpose:
To establish clear guidelines for events submitted to the Northwest Native Chamber (NWNC), ensure that NWNC is not held liable for any obligations or responsibilities related to the event, and to protect NWNC from any potential liabilities.
Scope:
This policy applies to all events submitted to NWNC for promotion, support, or involvement. This includes, but is not limited to, community events, fundraisers, educational workshops, and conferences.

Event Submission Requirements:
All events must align with NWNC’s mission and values.
Submissions must be made at least 60 days prior to the event date.
A completed Event Submission Form must be provided, including detailed information about the event, contact information, and any support requested from NWNC.
Review and Approval:
All event submissions will be reviewed by NWNC’s event staff
NWNC reserves the right to approve or decline any event submission based on alignment with its mission, values, and availability of resources.
Approved events will receive written confirmation from NWNC within 15 days.
NWNC’s Role and Responsibilities:
Approval of an event does not imply endorsement or sponsorship by NWNC unless explicitly stated in the approval confirmation.
NWNC’s involvement, if any, will be clearly outlined in the approval confirmation. This may include promotional support, providing speakers, or logistical assistance.
NWNC will not be responsible for any financial obligations or liabilities related to the event unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
Liability and Indemnification:
The event host agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NWNC, its staff, board members, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to the event.
NWNC will not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages that occur during the event.
Cancellation and Changes:
NWNC reserves the right to withdraw its support or involvement in the event at any time if circumstances arise that are contrary to NWNC’s mission or values, or if necessary resources become unavailable.
Event hosts must notify NWNC immediately of any changes to the event details. NWNC reserves the right to reevaluate its support based on these changes.
Promotion and Marketing:
NWNC may promote approved events through its channels, including newsletters, social media, and website, at its discretion.
All promotional materials mentioning NWNC must be approved by NWNC prior to distribution.
Compliance with Laws:
Event hosts must ensure that the event complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Any necessary permits or licenses must be obtained by the event host.

Submission:
Complete the Event Submission Form
Include all required documentation and information as specified in the form.
Review:
NWNC’s event team will review the submission and make a decision within 15 business days.
The event host will be notified of the decision via email.
Post-Approval:
If approved, NWNC will outline any agreed-upon support and provide guidelines for the use of NWNC’s name and logo.
Event hosts must adhere to all conditions outlined in the approval confirmation.
