This year’s theme, “Economies of the Future: Traditions of Prosperity,” reflects our commitment to intertwining traditional wisdom with innovative economic strategies to forge a prosperous future for Native communities.

The showcase will feature the extraordinary talents of Melrene Saloy-Eaglespeaker (Blood Tribe) of Native Diva Creations, whose mixed media designs capture the essence of Native artistry, and Jillian Waterman (Anishinaabe), who brings contemporary couture to life with a unique blend of modern aesthetics and cultural motifs. Additionally, Alicia Stephens (Nuu-Chah-Nulth/Kwakwaka’wakw) of Alicia’s Designs will present her exceptional contemporary couture, which seamlessly integrates the past and present, celebrating her heritage through innovative fashion.
