About the Child Care Infrastructure Fund

HB 3005 allocated $50 million to Business Oregon to establish the Child Care Infrastructure Fund.
The first $25 million will be distributed to recipients through rounds of funding beginning in early summer 2024, with the remaining $25 million becoming available in the spring of 2025.
CCIF is a competitive statewide grant focused on providing funds for establishment, expansion, and improvements of child care facilities across Oregon.
Up to 25% of the grant is allocated to language and culturally-specific child care businesses in Oregon.
Funds are facilitated through Business Oregon

Funding Types:​

Planning Projects (up to $75,000) – help develop the plan you’ll need to determine if a child care infrastructure project is feasible 
Minor Renovation and Repairs ($20,000 – $99,999) – minor repairs and renovations needed to expand/retain your child care offerings
New Construction or Major Renovation ($100,000 – $2,000,000) – large scale projects (e.g. remodeling a site; construction of a new center)
Property Acquisition ($20,000 – $2,000,000) – purchase land, buildings, or ADUs to establish a child care facility that will not be used as private residence
