Native Enterprise Program

The Northwest Native Chambers flagship business development program is a 9 week course led by Native entrepreneurs is designed to offer invaluable insights into the intricacies of launching and/or sustaining a business as a Native entrepreneur. Our program is composed of eight dynamic modules, each rooted in personal narratives and captivating stories told by successful Native business owners. The 9th week is for graduation, where you will provide a short presentation of your business!

At the completion of this course, you will have an Executive Summary, a Sample Budget, and your Business Pitch. Graduates of this Program will be equipped to develop their business plan and launch their business.

The Program

The NE Coalition Project is a full year of programming, offered in cohorts for group support and improved learning. It begins with the programs of our initial partners, and their suite of programs. These have been placed on a continuum of enterprise development, from initial exploration to preparing for startup funding.

The Platform

Entrepreneurs throughout the Pacific Northwest often struggle to find resources. It may be because they are in isolated communities, their needs are unique, and/or they are in a specialized industry and no resources are available where they live. The economy of this region cannot afford to lose business. That’s why we launched StartUp Northwest – this platform aims to address this problem by offering an online resource center for entrepreneurship.

The Opportunity

This initiative both enables people to invest in their own communities as well as seek capital from fellow Northwesterners – the communities where we live – putting the power of enterprise success back into the hands of those who would use and benefit by the business.

The Goal

Our goal is to collaborate with Tribal and Native leaders to create a comprehensive program designed to introduce, support, and help launch more Native enterprises, offering a more organized, resource-rich pathway to economic justice and independence for Native people.
