The Child Care Infrastructure Fund (CCIF) is a competitive statewide grant designed to establish, expand, and improve child care facilities across Oregon. With a total of $50 million allocated through HB 3005, this initiative prioritizes culturally specific early learning programs, ensuring diverse communities receive the support they need.
Round 1 Funding Update:
The first round of funding, totaling $10 million, is now closed. Award decisions will be announced in November 2024.
Upcoming Round 2 Opportunity:
In early 2025, an additional $15 million will be awarded to selected applicants. If you weren’t selected in Round 1, there’s still an opportunity to apply in the next funding round!

Funding Types:​

Planning Projects (up to $75,000) – help develop the plan you’ll need to determine if a child care infrastructure project is feasible 
Minor Renovation and Repairs ($20,000 – $99,999) – minor repairs and renovations needed to expand/retain your child care offerings
New Construction or Major Renovation ($100,000 – $2,000,000) – large scale projects (e.g. remodeling a site; construction of a new center)
Property Acquisition ($20,000 – $2,000,000) – purchase land, buildings, or ADUs to establish a child care facility that will not be used as private residence
