NeuraMedica is a medical device company located in Oregon City, Oregon, focused on the commercialization of DuraFuse, a novel, bioabsorbable, surgical clip for spinal dura closure. The company was founded in 2014, based on an idea by Neil Roundy, MD, developed out of Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). Biomedical engineer Rachel Dreilinger developed early prototypes with grants from the OHSU Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI). Together they founded NeuraMedica to commercialize the Dural Clip and Applier system. NeuraMedica holds multiple patents on its proprietary technology and has several pending patents.
