Coral Story Beauty is a creation by Morning Dove Barranger a Native Woman belonging to the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribe of Montana. I founded Coral Story Beauty in October 2018, but it began almost 5 years earlier when my son, Hendricks was about 18 months old. I was having very serious postpartum skin and health issues. I knew I needed to make a big change in what I was putting on my body. I literally threw everything in my bathroom out. I needed to start over. I spent a lot of time researching cleaner products on the internet and in stores. I was hungry for everything green beauty! I ordered and bought product after product and never stopped testing! Because of all my research I now had numerous family and friends looking to me for things they wanted to change or swap out. What slowly began as my story became other people’s stories as well. Coral Story Beauty was built because I didn’t want those looking for green beauty to have to go through the constant ordering and testing process I had to go through. I wanted there to be a place with the largest variety of green beauty products where you could walk in, talk to someone who had done the research, and find the very best makeup and skincare for you. Fast forward to present day and now we have a flourishing green beauty store in the heart of Portland. It is my passion and honor to help everyone on their journeys!
